Whether The Apple Cider Vinegar Diet Good For you or Not?
Apple cider vinegar is prepared by fermentation of apples. Acidic vinegar is combined with fruit pectin in order to get the fat
burning effect. It is an acidic solution obtained from the fermentation of apples. It contains vital minerals, vitamins and trace elements, as well, prosodic acid, acetic acid, lactic acid, amino acids and fiber in the form of apple pectin and potash. The apple vinegar thus obtained is combined with oxygen to produce acetic acid .The pH of apple cider is ideal for the body.
Dosage: One to three teaspoons of apple cider vinegar before each meal.
ADVANTAGES
Constipation:- As we grow older, there is a decline in the production of digestive acids (hydrochloric acid), digestive enzymes and pepsin thereby causing constipation. Usually fiber such as pectin is added in apple cider vinegar which helps the body in having proper bowel movement.
Blood pressure:- It helps in controlling the blood pressure as the potassium present in apple cider vinegar makes the blood thinner.
Diabetes:- This disease can occur due to many reasons and requires right medical supervision and you need to keep a control on your sugar intake. The dietary fiber present in apple cider vinegar is useful in controlling the blood sugar level.
Chest congestion:- Apple cider vinegar can also be used in treating flu or chest congestion. Mixing apple cider vinegar with pepper and applying on chest can help in reducing congestion.
Asthma:- Researchers have found that applying pads soaked in apple cider vinegar on the wrist could provide relief from asthma.
DISADVANTAGES
As we have seen that apple cider vinegar is quite beneficial and used to treat many diseases but there are several risks associated with use of it. Due to the presence of acetic acid, it is very insensitive and hence is always diluted before use.
Prolonged use of apple cider vinegar can lower bone density and potassium levels.
There might be an adverse effect of using apple cider vinegar as commercially prepared apple cider vinegar can contain damaging ingredients.
In case you have diabetes or heart problems, and are already on medication for it, then it becomes necessary to consult your physician before direct consumption of apple cider vinegar as the elements present in it could interfere with your medicines.
Hence it is hard to find safe and pure variety of apple cider vinegar.
