Bikram yoga

Bikram yoga is more a physical type which sometime called as the aerobic yoga. The yoga was named after the inventor of the Bikram Yogayoga program, Bikram Choudhry who was born in kolkatta, in 1946. At very early age, Bikram Choudhry became pupil or disciple of Bishnu Gosh. First he learned Hatha yoga technique that won him Indian yoga championship at the elementary years of his age. Later on, he started his own training centers of yoga and used his own techniques which, of late, known as Bikram yoga.

Bikram yoga sometimes called as a distance cousin of Hatha Yoga. It is said that the founder of Bikram Yoga inspired by Hatha Yoga and wanted to invent a likewise Yoga exercise. It is also a rumor that he invented this Yoga exercise to treat himself from the injury that had during weightlifting. This Yoga exercise worked wonder in his case to recover the injury. After that he started sensationalizing the techniques of Bikram Yoga to other people suffering from physical injuries. The result of the technique to other people was as good as in his own-case.
This one of the oldest Yoga programs contains 26 body postures. All the body poses or postures are done in a heated room which is one of the most required elements of the exercise. The series of asana or postures starts with the upright body position and later follows as backward bend, forward bends and twist.

Bikram yoga is not directly suggested to everyone. Before joining this Yoga program, a fitness test it conducted to check your physical fitness as this type of Yoga is suggested to physically fit people. So, make sure you are fit and in a position to join this yoga program. Else you will be suggested to join another till you get yourself into the shape required for the Bikram Yoga.

Let’s know how Bikram Yoga is done.

Unlike from other conventional Yoga exercises, it is done in a heated placed. The temperature of the room might go up to hundred degrees. High temperature is an essential element for this type of yoga as perspiring body is required to recover from the ailment.
Blazing hot environment, inside the room helps to do required asana. The Yoga exercise stats from standing body position and followed by backward bending and forward bending position.
In Bikram Yoga, all the body postures are done twice and in the end of the exercise Yoga doer is suggested to twist body parts.
The Bikram Yoga exercise consists on many exercise modules that may take around ninety minutes to complete the whole exercise regime.

The Bikram yoga is a modern and costly yoga technique that favors to capitalistic society. Many a westernized methods are used with the intention to get immediate result. Due to tremendous result, the Bikram Yoga is practiced all around the world. Having seen the popularity and effectiveness of this Yoga program, the inventor of this technique has decided to start a few centers in United State of America.
