Classification and the Causes of Asthma
There are two major ways by which asthma can be classified; firstly it can be classified by the brutality of the trouble and secondly by the cause of the asthma attacks. The brutality of the asthma can be further divided into three major categories. There’s intermediate or mild asthma which can be defined as two or less than two asthma attacks in a week. Twenty percent of people who are suffering from asthma attacks come in this category. And further twenty percent come in the continual category that is two or more than two asthma attacks in a week.
Subsequently, number of people that are forty percent in total, are suffering from asthma attacks, come in the severe or temperate category. These people are those who are having regular problems with asthma on a daily basis. There are a lot of triggers of asthma and moreover several people will truly have more than a single trigger of their asthma attacks.
The allergic reaction is the most widespread cause of asthma; as it has an effect on more than sixty percent of people who are suffering from asthma. Its origin takes place by a hypersensitivity to something like mold, dust, pet dander and even the foodstuff that you eat on a daily basis. When the human being makes a contact with their allergic cause, the airways will be aggravated and will be reddened, this results in an asthma attack.
The other category of asthma is the non-allergic asthma, it happens when someone has a problem with breathing, as the non-allergic asthma is generally related to the airborne contaminants, this consists of air pollution and smoke from the cigarettes. The human body’s reaction towards the non-allergic cause of asthma is analogous to that of the allergic reaction related causes. The breathing tube that allows the oxygen inside the body and then to the lungs becomes aggravated, so the it compresses, as it is filled with the excess quantity of mucus and makes it extremely difficult to inhale the air.
The majority of people who are suffering from the problem of asthma have what is known as the exercise stimulated asthma. This type of asthma is caused by excessive running, playing games or doing other types of enthusiastic activities. It may happen within ten minutes of starting to play a game or in some cases may not happen at all.
