Fishy food-the best food

In today’s world, with the advancement in the field of information and technology, people have become aware of the plausible Sea food is good fooddangers to their lives and the health hazards the may face in the future. Thus, they have become more health conscious and are trying their best to stay fit. This cognizance has made them go for the best diet in the present so as to remain healthy in the future. This can very well be seen from the statistics as these days consumption of junk food has decreased. People are going for home-cooked food and low-calorie diet. One category of light and healthy foods is sea foods. These include salmon, sardines, tuna, etc.

Sea foods are staple food in the coastal areas. They are good for the body as is verified by the studies that the people in those regions tend to live longer and healthier. These contain high levels of proteins, amino acids, low saturated fats and essential oils like omega3. These keep the body weight in control as they are low in fats. High amount of proteins maintain the growth of the body. They add to the immunity of the body and prevents from various diseases. Physicians recommend including sea foods in diet at least twice a week.

This is because of the following advantages offered by them:

1. They maintain the cholesterol levels in the body as they are rich in unsaturated fatty acids. The unsaturated fatty acids do not deposit in the body, thus, prevents formation of cholesterol.

2. They reduce the chance of strokes and any other kind of heart disease. The main reason for heart diseases is deposition of cholesterol in the body. They control levels of bad cholesterol (
LDL) and enhance the formation of good cholesterol (HDL) in the body.

3. Presence of large amounts of proteins helps in growth of muscles in the body. They also keep a check on the body weight naturally.

4. Omega3 essential oil in the fish helps in avoiding any cardio-vascular disorders and lowers blood pressure levels.

5. Sea foods prevent digestive system ailments as they are easily digestible.

6. It is a good alternative for red meat and poultry as do not have harmful fatty acids present in animal fat like omega6 fatty acids.

Those, who want to have low fat diet, can go for white fleshed fish. They have the least amount of fats.
