One of the pre-requisites of the healthy skin is to eat a balanced diet and follow a healthy diet regime. Fruits like blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and plums are known to make your skin healthy and glowing as they have high antioxidant content in them which helps in making skin healthy. Skin also needs essential fatty acids to look healthy and glowing so you can eat flax seeds, fish, and walnuts which have these essential fatty acids in plenty.

Water which is considered to be the best source for a healthy and glowing skin, drink at least eight glasses of water and as it helps in eliminating the harmful toxins out of the body through urine. Also you can consume dry fruits like almonds, nuts as they have vitamin E in them which helps in repairing the damaged skin and also prevents early aging. Lime juice, citrus fruits like oranges, etc, are known to be beneficial for skin and also are used in various natural home made face packs to get a healthy and glowing skin.
