Why the Hypertension Is Known As the Silent Assassin?
Hypertension/arterial hypertension which is commonly known as the high blood pressure is a state of the human body in which
the blood pressure of your body is constantly increasing. In this technological era, hypertension or the high blood pressure is the most widespread disease, as the people are becoming casual and their lives have become so swift that only few of us are really conscious about our health. With the modernization of this world, touching towards the era of automation from the manual systems that used to be followed in the past, the consumption of fast food has turn out to be the way of life.
The fact of the matter is that these days, we are not intelligent enough to consume the food which is fresh, where as all the fruits and vegetables that we consume on a daily basis have a high concentration of pesticides and chemicals that directly or indirectly have an effect on our health.
However if by any chance you are not knowing anything about the ill effects of high blood pressure then this is the correct time to have a superior understanding about the harms of it. The vascular pressure or the blood pressure relates to the energy applied by the flow of blood on the periphery of the blood vessels.
The significant factor to note is that each and every time the heart beats, it forces out the blood with a high pressure into the arteries. The heart which operates as a fundamental muscular pump applies the force for the flowing of the blood right through the body. The arteries which are the blood vessels have flexible walls and so it provides an opposition throughout the flow of blood. Therefore, there is stress in the structure, even among two heartbeats. The pressure of blood changes all through the day and it gets reduced when you have a nap and increases whenever you are awake. And there is a possibility that it might also increase when you are tensed or excited.
Now, the blood pressure is computed in millimeters of mercury (that is mm of Hg) and the blood pressure reading that is below 115/85 mm of Hg is believed to be normal. On the other hand, blood pressure of 135/95 mm of Hg or higher is considered to be an arterial hypertension and is usually known as the silent assassin.

Change in life style could be attributed as one of the main reasons for hypertension. We spend less time on physical activity and more time on doing sedentary things like watching TV and staring at the PC monitor. It is time to go out and explore the outside world.
