Measures To Prevent Cold & Flu
Cold & flu is probably one of the most contagious diseases which make you feel uncomfortable and unwell. You can catch cold & flu at any time of your daily life, as it can affect you in any season of the year. And on top of it can’t be cured so easily. In such an advanced age of today you don’t have any fixed remedy for it. According to latest survey it is found that most of the employees who remain absent or takes leave suffer from this disease. And no immediate remedy available for it makes it a serious issue. So the only option available to you is to take some preventive measures to avoid yourself from catching this cold & flu disease.
Tips To Avoid Cold & Flu:
1. Try to avoid coming into direct contact with anybody who is infected with the cold & flu. Stay away from people who are currently suffering from the cold & flu. Actually virus spreading cold & flu is airborne. Hence is highly contagious in nature. So it is very important to protect oneself from this disease.
2. Always wash your hands with some good antibacterial soap, especially when you come from outside, after you do any physical activity or after you touch any paper surface like paper currency. Thus this practice of washing your hand frequently would help you in avoiding this disease.
3. Drink lots of water. Your liquid intake in a day should be too much. According to the latest research it has been found that intake of lots of liquid in a day helps you in protecting yourself against the infection of cold. So when you are suffering cold or around the people who are suffering from cold try drinking lots of liquid, it would stabilize your body system and would increase your immunity.
4. Make sure you include loads of fresh fruits and juices in your daily diet. Especially Fruits enriched with vitamin c like oranges and grapes. They strengthen your immunity system and help your body to resist against the cold virus easily.
Researches show that if you intake citrus fruits before falling sick, your immunity would automatically boost. Hence would prepare your body to fight back such infection even before you fall sick. Moreover you can compliment your diet with some supplements like zinc, some extra anti oxidants which boost you immunity system. And last but not the least; don’t forget to include exercise in your daily routine. It’s a must do for everyone ten minutes proper work out. A research says that people who do swimming often can fight back cold easily. As it releases hormones and makes you relax which helps in increasing the immunity system of the body.
