Should Sex Education Be Imparted In India?

It is the most frequently arising topics in today’s date as it goes through each and every individual that ‘whether sex Education is necessary in India’? It becomes a worrying factor due to the lack of knowledge among the youngsters and particularly the adolescent age group. Illiteracy has also a lead role to play in case of involvement in sex and that too in a primitive way. For the illiterates sex is an act which do not acquires any responsibility.

This is the main reason for the spoiled future of many youths due to teenage pregnancies, abortions, torture, and stress, desertion from their respective families, mental pressure and social disrespect among the community. This leads to their miserable results in studies thereby loosing the scope of their life.

Major Reason:-

One of the major problems which India is facing is struggling with the number of rapidly firing number of the AIDS patients. India is the only country at present after Africa with more than 3 lakh cases of AIDS or HIV positive patients. Of them a majority of people lie in the age group of 20-30.This not only burdens the government to think on it rather it stresses on how to cure a majority of these people.

For solving this dreadful equation proper advises and financial help should be given to the people residing in the red light areas. Almost 90% of the HIV infections arise from these slum areas which again show the lack of knowledge among them. A good technique which was applied by government recently was the installment of the condom machine outside the call centers.

However there was quite fight and disturbance among the call center employees as they thought it as a taboo in spite of a precautionary measure. As all of us know that prevention is better than cure therefore programs must be launched in the right direction about the knowledge of safe sex, the appropriate use of condom and other medical equipments. Another area of concern is of premarital sex. However it concerned as an area of personal affair of an individual still it is the responsibility of the government to guide them that it is certainly not an act but a responsibility of coupsaled act.

There is some role of parents as well since they impart too much freedom to their offsprings that they cross the reach of control. The youth which is still immature undergo steps which are not in their favor and ultimately get deceased at the end.
