Different Stages of a Relationship
Every relationship undergoes a lot of changes with the passage of time, couples love, fight and reconcile with each other
regularly but when more fights start taking place between them then they think it is better for them to part their own ways. Sex & relationship is one such topic which has been addressed by experts worldwide, but even after that people are unaware of its implications. There are a number of stages which are seen in all relationships and only few of them actually determine the course of the relationship.
These stages are as follows:
Lust – it is the first stage of any relationship and its life is very short lived. It usually lasts for around four to six months and not more than that. In this stage, the sexual life of the couple is at its peak and they explore every dimension of it, it is not some random incident but a well documented fact.
Social scientists all over the world have credited this with a simple and valid conclusion, according to them in initial stage a person is more attracted towards other person’s body only and therefore it is the lust for each other which bind them together in the initial stage. They have sex regularly and they devote their maximum time towards each other. But after a time this stage starts fading and starts giving way to more mature type of romantic love.
Romantic love – this is the second stage of any relationship and life of this part is longer than the earlier one and this is because of the fact that the two persons devote more time in knowing each other than doing sex. In this stage also their sexual life is adventurous but it does not remain as it was in the first stage. Between the persons it does not suffice to the physical level rather it develops into a deep relationship.
Mature love – it is the third stage of any relationship and many of the problems of any relationship starts creeping in this stage. In this stage persons love each other on a mature level and they start experiencing limitations of their relationships. Sex, as the truth is, starts decreasing in frequency and both spend much lesser time with each other than they used to. They start feeling boredom and they realize that no spark is there between them anymore. Maximum number of relationships fails in this stage and the couples need to realize this fact. They will need to maintain the spark which was binding them earlier and they need to maintain it.
