Tips for healthy glowing skin

Skin is the most delicate organ of the body, which gets easily affected by external as well as internal factors. It will be Glowing skin1appropriate if we call it as health indicator. A healthy skin not only makes you feel good but also make you more confident. Many girls try to cover the flaws on the face by applying makeup, but a good skin needs no shimmer or blusher. Those, who are blessed with glowing skin are lucky, but those who want to have it, it is no longer a secret.

The most common, cheapest and easily available tonic for skin is “Water”.

1. Drink as much of water as you can. Because it flushes out the toxins from your skin and makes it clearer. But make sure that, the water you drink is pure. Recommendable intake of water is 8-9 glasses of water per day depending on the person.

2. Skin is the mirror of your lifestyle. Avoid smoking and alcohol as these factors stress out the skin, making it look dull. Over dosage of strong medications also affects the skin in a bad way.

3. Sleep is the secret beauty tablet. Take enough sleep in night and wake up with the fresh looking skin in the morning. After so much of stress and tensions throughout the day, body needs a rest. This is period when skin gets rejuvenated.

4. Late night parties must be fun for you but it is surely not fun for your skin. If you need to stay awake in night then avoid smoking and coffee, instead drink some water or juice.

Skin gets glowing if you start exercising. The magic can be seen within 2 weeks.

1. Exercise again flushes out the toxins and gives a healthy blush on your facial skin. Working out regularly can make miracles on the skin.

2. A balanced diet is as important as exercise. Because, your skin is what you eat. For a glowing skin; eat lots of fruits. The daily food which you have should contain the required vitamins and minerals in a proper amount.

3. Avoid junk food as it is neither good for your skin nor for your health.

4. Never use low quality soap on your skin. Instead use a soap free wash. People with sensitive skin should use fragrance free and mild wash.
5. Scrubbing is also an important part of skin care. Regular scrubbing removes dead cells and helps skin in revitalization. Scrubbing should be done twice in a week.

6. Apply moisturiser after washing your face; it gives back the lost moisture to skin.

7. External factors like sun, pollution or other climate conditions are also responsible for your skin’s health. When you are going out in sun, apply sunscreen (at least 15 SPF) on your skin before 20 minutes.

8. Keep your mind fresh. Try to stay away from tensions. Meditate at least for 15 – 20 minutes a day. It will uplift your body and soul. And your skin will show the reflection of your healthy and happy mind.
